The Challenge
In this video, I walk you through the process of editing categories on Keepspace. You’ll learn how to access the categories list, use the edit function by clicking on the sandwich icon, and make changes such as updating titles and colors. I also explain the hierarchy of categories and subcategories, emphasizing that a subcategory can only belong to its designated parent category. Please take note that you can only go one level down when creating subcategories. I encourage you to try these steps on your own to better organize your categories.
How to edit a category on Keepspace. So, if you watch some of the other videos on how to create a video, how to create a category on Keepspace, you will find the section under Categories.
And in here, you will see the categories in their current list. To be able to edit a category, or a subcategory for that factor, you click on the sandwich icon and it comes up with the edit function on both options.
This is also placed on how to delete a category and it will be able to have the same effect. To edit, simply click on the edit button and change the title to what you would like, change the color.
If you’d like to match it in or change it to be a parent. Now, what you’ll find here is a subcategory cannot be anything other than the subcategory belongs to.
Or if, for example, we wanted to put apparel under our clothing, then we could edit this out and place it under clothing and have it join the Group here, we could even have season 26 added as a subcategory to apparel.
I believe, no, we cannot. Okay, so you can only go one level down. It can go two levels down in the category creation.
So just to let you know, that’s how we would edit and we only have a basic level function. So it’s really just editoring.
It’s only being able to edit the category out of its parent category to a top based category with everything else, the name and the color.
Thanks so much. Hope this helps.
